KU Sriracha has invited SH Architects and ETPRO Sumit Design (Engineering Firm) to join the competition of new swimming pool building.
PODS have responsibility to design the first preliminary design to present at the presentation day.(29/July/2010)
The design strategy of this project is try to observation the context and use it to develop the program within swimming pool building.
From the analysis of site surrounding and context make the planning of building have 3 main part. First, is the entrance hall from tranfer user to other program. Second, is the locker, bath room and activity room that connect to the entrance hall and pool deck. Last one is the pool deck that connect to the 1st and 2nd part.That make all of the program link together and easy to control the user.
Design of architecture of the project try to merge the building to the environment by use shape and form of the hill side to create the form of building and roof structure. (Space frame Structure)
The picture below is the preliminary perspective of project by now the project has developed and ready to construction part that I'll show you the final design later.
